Please share a story between you and your students that touched you the most.
I believe teaching enriches not just the mind but the whole being as well. I am deeply moved when one of my students is excited to show me his new English book, when one of them confides in me, and when one of my usually indifferent and serious students smiles and laughs. It has always been a delight to see and hear students smile, laugh, and enjoy the lesson despite their grueling day and hectic schedule, especially when I know that I helped them to fully understand and grasp the lesson.

I have never taught an old person before. My student talked warmly, like a grandfather from a different time. He spoke English like he was talking in Chinese. Every time he spoke, it was as if he was doing tai chi and I felt the art of it. You see, I love history and how people lived in ancient times. To encounter it firsthand was truly astonishing, especially since he said that I was a good teacher. Coming from a wise old man, I couldn’t ask for anything more. It was an honor to have met and taught such a person.
